Brand creation

It was during the summer vacations of 2001 in Xi’an, a beautiful ancient city with a deep cultural history, that three high school classmates worked together to build their first loudspeakers. Their love of music and enthusiasm for audio equipment laid the foundations for a friendship that would last a lifetime.
In early 2006, these three classmates graduated from university and decided to start working together to build new audio equipment. They used their technical knowledge to create their first “decent quality” DAC. They loved music, they loved life, and they also loved the sense of accomplishment and pride that designing and building audio equipment gave them. Soon after, the idea of creating a brand and manufacturing audio products occurred to them. Matrix Audio was born!
As a new starting point, they created Matrix Electronic Technology Co. LTD in Xi’an and registered the Matrix Audio brand.

Brand concept

The brand name is derived from the mathematical concept “matrix”. The matrix is constructed by the vertical and the horizontal, and we call the brand “matrix” because we seek a balance between the two dimensions. We examine audio products by listening and looking, so we’ve incorporated this concept into our designs too. All our products offer not only excellent audio performance, but also an elegant design that can be integrated into the home environment. Harmony is the goal of our ongoing efforts.

Slogan

Into The Music is our slogan, expressing the state of life with music everywhere, enjoying music, and integrating music into our lives. Music is the primary intention.

Product orientation

We adhere to independent research and development of hardware, software and applications, considering the accumulation of software and hardware technologies as the core of the brand’s competitiveness, with the best sound quality as our top priority. Making audio products smarter and enabling streaming has contributed to the evolution and direction of our products and software. Our MA Remote application will be the central interactive experience for all our future hi-fi audio products, so that high-resolution streaming can easily become part of people’s lives.

Present and future

After years of perseverance and effort, Matrix Electronic Technology Co. LTD has grown into a professional company that integrates research, design, manufacturing, marketing and sales of hi-fi digital audio products. The team now numbers over 30 members, including software and hardware developers, iOS and Android application designers with independent intellectual property. These products have obtained CE, CCC and other safety certifications, as well as specific audio certifications. The company also joined the China Audio Industry Association in 2022.
In the coming years, Matrix Audio will make continuous efforts to be one of the best brands in the market segmentation by launching great products and providing better services to our customers. Thank you for your support!
