MA player

MA player is a high-quality digital audio playback/streaming control system developed by 「Matrix Audio」. With MA player, you can operate and control the mini-i 4 via smartphones or tablets within the local network. What’s more, MA player also integrates Roon Ready, DLNA/UPnP, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect, so you can enjoy high-resolution audio streaming across your network.

MA Remote application

The MA Remote app is developed by 「Matrix Audio」 and is available for iPhone, iPad or Android phones. With these devices, you can browse and play high-resolution online audio files from TIDAL, Qobuz and HIGHRESAUDIO, listen to Internet radio stations, adjust all hardware settings, check and install new firmware for your mini-i 4.

Sort your local music, play it effortlessly

The mini-i 4 supports local music playback from USB storage devices and NAS. It indexes storage and automatically builds a music library based on these storage sources. Music files will be categorized as “Library” in the MA Remote application, allowing you to easily find the music you want based on albums, tracks, artists, genres, composers, performers, ages, labels and more. Just browse and listen to your music collections.

Open the door to high-resolution online streaming

The mini-i 4 offers you a rich selection of online music resources. You can connect to TIDAL, Qobuz and HIGHRESAUDIO accounts in the MA Remote application, and easily browse and play a vast amount of high-quality online music, opening up an infinite world of music.

The mini-i 4 supports a variety of network streaming protocols. In addition to Roon Ready and AirPlay, it also supports DLNA/UPnP, TIDAL Connect and Spotify Connect. The mini-i 4 supports Internet radio from vTuner and Radio Paradise. Simply connect the mini-i 4 to the Internet, open the MA Remote application, and whether it’s pop music, classical music, energetic background music or talk shows, it can meet your needs and let you fully explore the diversity of music.

High-quality USB DAC

The mini-i 4 features a high-quality USB digital-to-analog converter. It lets you choose the right USB cable to connect to computers, smartphones or tablets, and supports different audio formats and sampling rates up to 768 kHz PCM, DSD512 and MQA audio.

Hi-Fi TV experience

The mini-i 4 has added an HDMI ARC input port, which transmits the audio signal from the TV or projector to the mini-i 4. This means you can enjoy clearer, more realistic sound when watching videos. Sampling rates are supported up to PCM 24 bit/192 kHz. Power on/off, volume and playback link between the mini-i 4 and the display device can be controlled via CEC, giving you a new Hi-Fi TV experience.

S/PDIF input for broad compatibility

The mini-i 4 features optical and coaxial S/PDIF input interfaces, which can process S/PDIF signals in the PCM 44.1-192 kHz range and DSD64 in DoP mode, offering users a higher-quality audio decoding experience.

Genuine Swiss Army Knife

In addition to digital audio input and audio streaming, the mini-i 4 also features an analog RCA input with three levels of input gain. This lets you adjust the input gain to suit the front-end device and your personal preferences. Whether you want to connect traditional analog audio devices or enjoy modern, high-resolution digital music, the mini-i 4 offers excellent audio performance and convenient operation.

Gigabit Ethernet

The mini-i 4 is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet connection that guarantees stability and sufficient transmission speed when playing high-resolution audio files over the network, enabling audio files to be streamed to your audio system. Get ready for a musical feast!

Extensive connectivity

The Mini-I 4 boasts numerous digital inputs, as well as an analog RCA stereo input for an additional audio source, such as a turntable. Outputs include a stereo RCA output and a balanced stereo XLR output. The big news on version 4 is the appearance of an HDMI ARC input, enabling users to enjoy HiFi TV sound.
