Matching is the best
The element M2/element M2S music streamer is a multifunctional audio source that can play local music files or online audio streams.
It features several input ports, including toslink, coaxial, IIS-LVDS, USB audio and HDMI ARC. As a stand-alone music source, the M2/element M2S powers a variety of headphones directly, or can be connected to power amplifiers or active speakers for high-resolution music listening.
Roon Ready, UPnP and AirPlay are also supported. Excellent human-machine interaction, with Matrix Audio’s MA Remote App , you can easily configure your devices, browse and play music files.
Element M2/element M2S delivers even more excellent pure sound, meticulously reproducing the original charm of the music.
New user interface
The element 2nd generation music player features a 3.46″ LCD touch screen.
When playing over the network or playing local music via the MA player, extensive track information is displayed on screen.
The touchscreen makes a variety of operations easier. Newly added touch-sensitive playback buttons make it easy to use the new generation of Element music streamers.
If you have a large treasure trove of digital audio, MA Player lets you easily browse and play music on USB drives or NAS.
If you prefer high-resolution online streaming, TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify and Internet radio will form your huge music library.
Roon Ready, DLNA/UPnP and AirPlay 2 offer different music streaming experiences.
Full of power Full of detail
We’ve added a balanced 4.4 mm headphone jack for the M2* element, enabling it to be combined with a variety of headphones. The integrated headphone amplifier has been upgraded to a balanced 4-channel architecture.
The fully symmetrical circuit allows signals from the left and right channels to pass through an almost perfectly symmetrical amplification circuit.
Headphone output power is high, with low distortion and noise.

Everything in your hand
We take every product detail seriously, and even the remote control is no exception.
The new RM4 remote control has added playback control functions, making it more convenient to change tracks, play, pause and other operations.
With 2 programmable buttons that can be set to your most frequently used functions via the MA Remote App.
Aluminum and plastic materials make the remote control pleasant to the touch.
Early birds in Hi-Fi TV
We’ve added the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) input port to the M2/element M2S.
When connected to display devices such as TVs and projectors with HDMI ARC functionality, the digital audio from the HDMI signal can be transferred to the M2/element M2S for higher-quality playback.
If the display device supports HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) protocol, playback on the M2 element/M2S element can be controlled by this display device.
Asynchronous or synchronous, the choice is yours
Both asynchronous and synchronous modes are available on the M2 element/M2S element.
In asynchronous mode, the D/A chip’s master clock comes from the integrated Crystek CCHD-950 femtosecond clock, and the front-end clock is dropped.
In synchronous mode, the integrated femtosecond clock is deactivated and the D/A chip depends entirely on the front-end clock.
Isolated design
There are 2 independent power supplies dedicated to the ARM processor and the digital audio processing part of the M2/element M2S.
We placed the two parts in independent circuit units and connected them by several optocouplers to achieve complete electrical isolation.
The audio circuit uses an independent linear power supply to present you with a pure musical background.
Follow your path
If wireless network signal coverage is good, you can opt for a Wi-Fi connection.
The integrated dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi antenna gives the M2/element M2S a clean, tidy appearance and a flexible connection option.
Get your groove on
Newly added trigger ports mean you don’t have to turn the amplifier on or off manually.
Just let the M2/element M2S act as a control center and enjoy the music at the touch of a button.
