The TS-1 core is based on a fully symmetrical architecture using two AK4493SEQ chips configured in parallel for each channel. Each converter has its own ultra-low-noise power supply circuit, fed by dedicated dual-channel LDO regulators.
The clock is a crucial element of this architecture. The TS-1 incorporates two separate femtosecond clocks, each optimized for 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz sampling frequencies and their multiples. These clocks benefit from an independent linear power supply and intelligent control via FPGA, ensuring perfect synchronization of digital signals.
