ZE8000.
Premium wireless stereo headphones.
Remaster your music listening experience with 8K sound.
Thanks to our quest for high-quality sound, in-depth exploration of our creativity and innovation, and then intensive research and development in the fields of audio, acoustics, psychoacoustics and materials engineering, in 2017 we introduced the flagship AFDS (Air Film Damping System) planar magnetic headphone model, the D8000and, in 2019, we introduced the A8000, our flagship pure-beryllium in-ear monitor (IEM).
These two flagship models offer the highest level of “Transparency” in music playback and have achieved a breakthrough in hi-fi audio, presenting a totally new perception and experience in music discovery.
The code “8000” has become synonymous with the final steps in our never-ending quest for new and innovative ideas, defying limits and achieving the impossible.
Now, in 2022, we are proud to present a new model in our flagship 8000 range, the ZE8000.
The ZE8000 is a pair of wireless stereo headphones (TWS) whose hardware and software have been delicately designed to manifest the acoustic properties – which we call 8K SOUND – that have recently been discovered.
Completely different from conventional approaches to sound design, this all-new 8K SOUND technology goes beyond the “transparency” goal achieved by the D8000 and A8000, and offers an unprecedented level of clarity, with the true identity of each sound element revealed in its full form, promising a whole new level of music appreciation.

Features.
8K SOUND.
In the field of visual technology, the 8K UHD(ultra-high definition) standard uses 16 times more pixels than the general standard to provide 16 times more information and enable a smoother color gradient between pixels, resulting in a sharper image, more natural color tones and a smoother presentation of motion.
At the same time, in the field of audio technology, transmitting all the informationcontained in a piece of music with the utmost precision has always been a major challenge.
Due to the physical limitations of the equipment used, much of this information has been left out.
The methods used to solve this problem range from using hardware of different shapes, sizes and materials to tuning the sound to a particular frequency range, all with the aim of improving overall clarity.
Final’s recently developed 8K SOUND technology represents an innovative breakthrough.
Instead of focusing solely on fine-tuning certain frequencies, the time element of each bit of sound is also carefully calibrated thanks to digital signal processing.
In this way, all the information contained in a piece of music is revealed in its best quality and aesthetics.
All in all, 8K SOUND delivers an exquisite sound experience at a level of distinction, detail, separation and speed never achieved before.

Split design for a better fit.
Many TWS systems on the market aredesigned to place all components in the concha area, which can result in a size that is not suitable for people with small ears.
For the ZE8000, we’ve taken a new approach by creating a dedicated ear-fitting division that’s small enough to fit all ear cones.
Complemented by the new double-layer TYPE Q earmolds, the ZE8000 remains concha-friendly, using primarily the interlocking mechanism provided by the round-shaped division and the concha of the ear.
The part that sits in the ear canal has been designed to be softer, allowing a comfortable fit with a soft touch.
What’s more, unlike most typical TWS systems, where the hard surface of the housing is in direct contact with the ears, TYPE Q double-layertips offer a soft silicone contact surface for supreme comfort.

Priority to sound quality, active noise suppression.
The activation of active noise cancellation(ANC) in many headphones degrades sound quality and leaves users feeling oppressed, stressed and uncomfortable (especially when there’s no music playing).
To solve this problem, our engineers have conducted numerous experiments with customized equipment and evaluations with real people.
We have thus succeeded in designing a noise suppression algorithm that effectively eliminates ambient noise in the ear, creating a quiet environment ideal for listening to music, while remaining faithful to the original sound and enabling a stress-free listening experience.
To enhance the accuracy and performance of the ANC algorithm, high-quality Knowles MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical systems) microphones are used.
4 modes for ease of use.
The ZE8000 can switch between four different modes for greater ease of use, via touch control or a mobile app.
Three of these modes are related to ambient noise and one to wind noise.

Active noise-cancellation mode – Eliminates ambient noise, allowing the user to concentrate on the music.

Ambient sound mode – Seamlessly blends music and ambient sound, allowing users to be aware of their surroundings while listening to music.

Voice-through” mode – Ambient sound takes priority over music, so you can hold clear conversations without having to take the headphones out of your ears.

Windscreen mode – significantly eliminates wind noise picked up by the microphones when there is a lot of ambient air movement.
Ultra-low distortion conductor, f-CORE for 8K SOUND.
8K sound can only be achieved when hardware and software are designed in parallel and complement each other.
In order to exploit the full potential of digital signal processing technology, the drive unit must be highly accurate and have extremely low distortion.
The ZE8000 features the new ultra-low distortion “f-CORE for 8K SOUND” driver with a large 13 mm equivalent diaphragm*, unprecedented for TWS headphones.
A lightweight aluminum-magnesium dome at the center is injection-molded onto a special, highly flexible silicone surround, and a floating mechanism is used for the CCAW voice coil wires.
This design makes the diaphragm considerably lighter and, as no common adhesives are used, stabilizes piston movement during vibration.
The “f-CORE for 8K SOUND” is considered the dynamic loudspeaker with the lowest THD+N (Total Harmonic Distortion Plus Noise) among wireless headphones and IEMs.
This superior physical feature of the “f-CORE for 8K SOUND” not only enables the highest precision in digital signal processing, but also
* Approximate diameter calculated from the surface of the central dome.

Volume optimizer.
Volume is one of the most important factors influencing music listening.
Because of the short distance between eardrum and earphones, the latter are more sensitive to volume variations than loudspeakers or headphones.
However, unlike specialized hi-fi devices, smartphones often vary considerably each time the volume is turned up or down, making it difficult to set the volume precisely to one’s liking.
The Volume Step Optimizer is an innovative function designed for the ZE8000 to solve this problem.
Starting from theusual listening volume leveldefined by the user (reference volume), Volume Step Optimizer transforms the smartphone’s standard volume control into a finer volume adjustment tool, offering greater precision around the reference volume.
This allows users to easily determine the volume level using their smartphone’s volume control.

8K SOUND Dedicated digital signal processing.

In the field of audio technology, reproducing all the information contained in a piece of music with the utmost precision has always been a great challenge.
Due to the physical limitations of the equipment used, much of this information has been left out.
The methods used to solve this problem range from using hardware of different shapes, sizes and materials to tuning the sound to a particular frequency range, all with the aim of improving overall clarity.
Noise suppression system with Class AB amplifier and PML CAP.
To complement the ultra-low distortion “f-CORE for 8K SOUND” driver and the ZE8000’s dedicated digital signal processing, high-quality electronic components are used to minimize both distortion and noise in the music signal generation circuit.
The ZE8000 uses a Class AB amplifier, known for its excellent balance between sound quality and energy efficiency, rather than the Class D amplifier used by many TWS systems.
Class AB amplifiers contribute to more faithful music reproduction thanks to their low distortion.
The chip’s decoupling capacitors for digital signal processing are high-performance, low-distortion PML CAP (Polymer Multilayer Capacitors) designed by the renowned Japanese manufacturer Rubycon.
Thanks to the latest manufacturing technologies, PML CAPs have significantly lower distortion than conventional MLCCs (Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors).
The output of digital signal processing, which is essentialfor 8K sound, is thus cleaner and more precise.

Compatible aptX Adaptiveâ„¢ & Snapdragon Soundâ„¢.

In addition to SBC and AAC codecs, the ZE8000 supports the high-quality, uninterrupted Qualcomm® aptX™ and aptX™ Adaptive codecs for wireless transmission at up to 24bit/96Hz.
Users of Snapdragon Soundâ„¢-enabled devices can now further enhance their wireless connectivity with Snapdragon Soundâ„¢ technology, designed to give listeners the best possible audio experience for games, music streaming, voice and video calls, and much more.
Snapdragon Soundâ„¢ is designed to deliver lossless music and guarantee industry-leading low-latency connections.
Snapdragon Soundâ„¢is optimized to work with a variety of devices and is designed to provide a robust connection with minimal audio interruptions and problems, even in environments where users may experience interference from many other devices, such as at home, at work or on the road.
Beam forming for crystal-clear calls.
Final’s exclusive beamforming algorithm has been introduced to improve the quality of ZE8000 phone calls.
Two high-performance microphones are positioned at the top and bottom of the ZE8000, at calculated distances.
During a phone call, both microphones simultaneously pick up the user’s voice and ambient sound, and their signals are spontaneously calculated by the beamforming algorithm.
The ZE8000 effectively extracts only the user’s voice, by calculating the time difference between the sounds picked up by the two microphones, resulting in a clear call.

Accessories.

Main units, charging case.

Ear tips (5 sizes), USB Type-C charging cable.

Acoustic tool, dust filters.
How to wear headphones.
Check the left and right sides by looking at the L (left) and R (right) marks on the back of the housing.
Hold the device, turn it slightly to align the earpiece with the ear hole and gently press the earpiece into place.
If you have the impressionthat the volume isn’t loud enough, that the low-frequency range isn’t sufficient, or that there’s a significant sound leak, the earpiece isn ‘t sufficiently waterproof.
As these earphones are not designed to be inserted deep into the ear canal, but rather to gently seal the ear canal entrance, we recommend that you try out the different sizes of earphones included in the package without worrying too much about the shape of your ear or the size of your ear canal.
In addition, as the shape of the ear differs considerably from left to right, the size and optimal position of the earpieces often differ between the left and right ear.
As sound quality varies considerably depending on the position of the earpiece, please move the unit in three dimensions, one side at a time, while listening to music, to find the most favorable listening position.
Once you’ ve found the optimum size and position, you’ll be able to wear them with ease.
Other features.
IPX4 waterproofing.
IPX4 (waterproof ) for everyday use, even in the event ofsudden changes inweather conditions.
Comfortable to useon rainy days or during stress-free sporting activities.

Color variations.
Two color variations: BLACK AND WHITE.
The headphones’ main body and charging case are made of lightweight resin with a glossy, grainy finish reminiscent of a high-end camera’s warship.
Normally, this type of granular coating is baked onto metal surfaces, but we’ve developed a special process that can be applied to resin surfaces too.
