SYNERGISTIC RESEARCH Pink Fuse
We regularly make discoveries as we seek to improve the performance of SR products.
And when it’s time to develop something completely new, we employ entirely new technologies capable of elevating each new SR product to a superior market position compared to the best products on the market.
A listen to the Voodoo Network Server confirms that it is by far the world’s most powerful network server/streamer.
And that brings us to the new Fusible Pink.
Traditionally, we launch a new fuse every 24 months, as it usually takes two years to accumulate enough new technologies to significantly outperform a previous fuse.
But as 2023 drew to a close, we had already launched all the new technologies accumulated in the new Master Fuse launched in February 2023, so we had nothing in reserve to justify a replacement for the Purple Fuse.
So, it remained on our list as a main application fuse to be combined with a few Master Fuses until we could develop something fundamentally better quickly after the launch of the Master.
We learned a lot during the development of the new Voodoo server, including a completely new high-voltage packaging process perfect for a new-generation fuse that would maintain the musical resolution of the Master Fuse.
Fortunately, we were also in the final stages of developing a new flagship product, due to be launched later in the year, so it’s still top secret, with a new UEF compound that proved perfect for the new Pink fuse, giving it a lower noise level compared with the Purple fuse.
So the new PINK Fuse was born six months late, inheriting the Voodoo’s high-voltage conditioning process and a new UEF compound.
How a fuse alters the sound of your system
For over a hundred years, electrons were thought to flow like water through a pipe, and once “contaminated” by miles of wire, there was little or nothing that could be done to “clean up” the power supply to your components. Consider this: the electricity that powers your system’s components first propagates through a single fuse. That’s why significant gains in sound quality are possible when you insert an SR fuse in each of your components.
Today, physicists understand that electrons don’t flow at all, but propagate in a wave of energy that moves along a conductor with a multitude of factors that modify this wave at the quantum level.
To understand how electricity moves without electrons ever leaving their respective atoms, it’s useful to consider the “wave” spectator at a soccer match.
While you can clearly see a wave pattern moving from spectator to spectator as fans raise and then lower their hands (without the hands ever jumping from one person to the next), the same is true of electricity “moving” without electrons ever leaving their atoms.
At Synergistic Research, we have isolated the key factors that affect the way electricity propagates by changing the behavior of electrons through inductive quantum coupling methods we collectively call Unified Energy Field Technology. In fact, UEF technology is so powerful that even a kilometer-long electrical chain is fundamentally improved with nothing more than a single fuse designed with our patented UEF technology.
Frequently asked questions.
Q: Are the fuses directional?
A: Yes, fuses are directional. Electricity should flow from left to right when viewing the text on the fuse.
If you don’t know the direction of flow, you need to listen for the fuse inserted in both directions.
One direction will be more detailed, more open and more musical.
If you can’t determine the right direction, don’t worry! Whatever the direction, the result will be better than the original as soon as the break-in is advanced. Then, using the fuse over time will recondition the molecular architecture in the direction of the current, just as we do before delivering it to you. It just takes a little longer.
Q: Do fuses require a break-in period?
A: Yes, a break-in period is essential to get the best results. The first 200 to 300 hours of use are the most important.
Q: Where should I use the fuse first?
A: To get the most out of your system, we suggest starting with one or two fuses, and perhaps more for more complex systems.
However, we generally recommend starting “upstream”, at the beginning of your signal source (Music Streamer, CD player, etc.).
From there, we suggest moving on to your digital-to-analog converter or phono stage. Then your preamplifier, followed by your power amplifier.
If you have several sources, upgrading the fuse in your preamplifier may first improve the performance of all your sources.
More information:
A large majority of people mistakenly believe that a fuse, or any other form of instantaneous cut-out protection, installed in an electrical appliance is designed to protect the appliance and immunize it against any form of electrical surge.
It’s almost nothing of the sort!
A fuse, which is sometimes required by law, protects the user against a possible fire in a given electrical system.
A fuse prevents a short circuit from turning into a house fire, the source of which is statistically electrical in 80% of cases.
Any after-sales service professional will tell you that the appliances being repaired for electrical problems have blown their fuses. The fact remains that they have suffered irreversible damage and must be repaired. No fuse can anticipate a power surge fast enough (close to the speed of light) to protect the circuits that follow it.
A fuse doesn’t protect the device, or only partially. It protects YOU!
Therefore :
Installing a fuse of a reasonably higher value is of no consequence. A short circuit on 220V will melt a 0.5A fuse just as quickly as a 3A fuse. If it’s too large, the delta between the recommended value and the installed one can significantly increase the extent of circuit damage, but it’s almost negligible.
However, this is a good reason, and above all a reassuring precaution, to respect a value increase of +50%, which corresponds to 1, 2 or even 3 higher values in the nomenclature.
