• The 12 V DC socket bypasses Genesis’ internal switching power supply module, allowing connection to an external linear power supply (such as our Forester F2) for a significant performance upgrade.

10 MHz is the most common Word clock frequency today; however, this frequency was originally chosen for GPS equipment and has not been optimized for audio. Better Than “Educated

Compared with “stand-alone” verbal clocks, integrated verbal clocks share system resources (power supplies, etc.) with other components, all interconnected on the same printed circuit board. Many situations will interfere with the clock signal, such as electrical pulses caused by system load changes, interference with other electronic components, network noise and jitter effects caused by the system. This is why an autonomous verbal clock source is essential: less interference with the clock source ensures the purest possible clock signal.
