The HiFi Rose RS151 incorporates a variety of technological innovations and high-quality components to enhance sound quality.
In the DAC stage, I/V conversion circuit and OP-AMP stage, high-precision MELF resistors and audio-grade WIMA film capacitors are used to improve linearity during signal processing and minimize distortion.
What’s more, the OP-AMP’s bias voltage is precisely controlled, resulting in a more refined and natural sound.
A single ground point design minimizes ground loops and eliminates noise interference, improving signal purity.
Around the power supply, decoupling capacitors with low ESR (equivalent series resistance) and high ripple current capability are placed to effectively filter high-frequency noise and reinforce power supply stability.
Thanks to this sophisticated design, the RS151 achieves remarkable measurement values with an SNR of 131.4 dB and a THD+N of just 0.0002%. These figures represent a revolutionary advance in signal accuracy and sound quality.
The analog stage features the ROSE NRA filter, designed to eliminate noise and enable flat frequency characteristics, even in extremely low frequency ranges.
Thanks to this innovation, the RS151 features a fixed frequency response over the entire range without decay, faithfully and clearly reproducing the original sound information contained in high-resolution audio sources.
Equipped with a new-generation 8-core processor, the RK3588, the RS151 offers four times the data processing performance and eight times the graphics performance of its predecessor.
DRAM capacity has been doubled from 4 to 8 GB, while eMMC storage has been extended from 8 to 32 GB, offering more than twice the processing speed.
This enables seamless playback of large audio files and high-resolution 4K video with HDR, while the capacity of the multimedia library has tripled, supporting over a million tracks.
In addition, improved I/O bus performance delivers read/write speeds around twice as fast as before, enabling faster file transfers and shorter response times when playing music, for a smoother listening experience.
The newly integrated Android 12 operating system further enhances user comfort and security, offering an intuitive and stable user experience.
The RS151 features HiFi ROSE’s signature wide-angle display, reinforcing the appeal of the phrase “Sound impression enjoyed by the eyes and ears”.
Expanding from 14.9″ to 15.4″ and from HD to Full HD, the display offers a generous size and superior resolution, reproducing album art and videos with exceptional quality.
The intuitive touchscreen offers exceptional ease of use, while its high resolution and wide color gamut enable detailed, vivid visual representation.
Previously supported ARC via HDMI has been upgraded to eARC, enabling uncompressed transmission of high-resolution audio signals at 24 bit/192 kHz.
This enhancement enables the HiFi Rose RS151 to deliver even more realistic, high-quality Hi-Fi sound via HDMI, bringing you closer to a true Hi-Fi experience.
Thanks to the Trigger IN/OUT ports and a monaural mini-jack cable, the RS151 can receive DC signals ranging from 3.3 to 12 V to automatically power up the unit, or emit a 12 V signal to control the power supply to external audio equipment.
This enables efficient management of your system’s power supply, allowing centralized control without having to manually control each individual device.
The RS151 incorporates a SIG-certified Bluetooth module and proprietary antenna, supporting the latest Bluetooth® v5.4 specification.
Based on the Qualcomm QCC3083 chipset, this module features a high-performance 24-bit audio interface and aptX codec, delivering high data rates and exceptional sound quality.
It also supports various profiles, including A2DP, AVRCP and IOPT, ensuring a stable, high-quality wireless audio experience.
Thanks to the ES9039PRO’s significantly enhanced digital signal processing capabilities, the RS151 now officially supports PCM 24bit/384kHz and DSD128 formats via coaxial and AES/EBU inputs.
The HiFi Rose RS151 can convert PCM audio to DSD and upscale it to a maximum of DSD512 using the ROSE DPC module.
Users can enjoy a variety of PCM audio sources with the rich, unique sound characteristics of DSD.
High-resolution upsampling preserves the fine details of the original source while enriching the sound with depth and clarity to suit the user’s preferences.
The RS151 is now equipped with an infrared remote control, replacing the previous Bluetooth-based control. With fewer restrictions on range and angle, and no need for pairing, the IR remote control offers stable, intuitive control and enhanced user comfort.
