Description
Silent Angel Genesis GX master clock
Silent Angel has developed its Genesis GX clock to boost the performance of its switches, in particular the Bonn NX. Equipped with 10 MHz and 25 MHz outputs, it can also be connected to any device with a Master Clock input, such as servers and streamers.
The result takes listening quality to a whole new level.

Silent Angel Genesis GX: clock for switch and streamer
The Genesis GX clock has been developed with the highest quality/price ratio in mind.
It is the ultimate optimization for any dematerialized music system.
It has four outputs: two at 10 MHz and two at 25 MHz.
The 10 MHz frequency is currently the standard in the High-Fidelity industry, allowing this clock to be connected to electronics from other manufacturers.
The 25 MHz frequency is less common, but is nevertheless used by Silent Angel for its Bonn NX switch, making the Genesis GX an ideal partner for digital signal processing.
Each output is equipped with gold-plated BNC connectors, spaced to allow the use of high-end cables and isolated to minimize interference and digital noise.
Each output has its own TCXO clock and power supply circuit to eliminate potential signal interference.
Each of its power supply circuits uses multi-stage filter technology, eliminating crosstalk and noise at different frequencies (10 MHz, 100 MHz and 1 GHz).
This master clock is equipped with a high-end internal switching power supply. For the most demanding audiophiles, an external linear power supply is also available, the Silent Angel Forester F2.
The clock’s electronic components are insulated by a chassis made of two layers of material: the inner layer is galvanized steel, while the outer layer is an aluminum alloy.
This combination maximizes shielding and eddy-current control while dampening vibration and interference.
The chassis is fitted with a gold-plated earth terminal.
It is advisable to connect this terminal to the ground of your electrical installation or to a grounding box dedicated to your High-Fidelity installation.
The case rests on three stainless steel feet.
They have been designed to control resonance and damp mechanical energy from internal and external sources, reducing mechanical and electrical noise and static electricity.
The result is improved dynamics and enhanced detail reproduction.
Listening to it, the result is clear.
The music is more pure, detailed, fluid and pleasant to listen to.
The most surprising aspect is the way the soundstage becomes more airy.
Instruments are more widely spaced and better detoured. Treble is better defined and softer to the ear.
Micro-information, nuances and note extinctions are all audibly enhanced. This clock will work wonders in any high-end system, and will be heard from the first to the last note.
