The Silent Angel Rhein Z1C is a high-performance audio server designed for demanding audiophiles.
With its optional SSD storage disk, it offers dedicated space for storing and sharing your music library over your home network.
This versatile server offers two distinct uses: it can be used for direct playback by being connected to an external USB DAC, or as a network server that shares your music files with other devices.
The Rhein Z1C offers seamless access to numerous streaming services such as Qobuz, Spotify and Tidal. For those with a NAS server, it supports SMB and UPnP/DLNA protocols, making it easy to play hosted music.
Equipped with a high-quality digital audio output, the Rhein Z1C guarantees noise-free signal transfer and electromechanical interference, for an optimal sound experience with your DAC. Easily control your server and drive music playback with the VitOS Manger and VitOS Orbiter apps from your smartphone or tablet.
The Rhein Z1C supports the following file formats: AAC, M4A, MP3, OGG, FLAC, WAV, ALAC, DSD, AIFF, CUE, WMA, APE.
The Silent Angel Rhein Z1C can be transformed into a Roon Core server and host your Roon license.

Turn your Rhein Z1C into a Roon Core server
By simply setting parameters in the VitOS Manager application, the Rhein Z1C can be operated as a Roon server.
You can stream your music stored on the Rhein Z1’s internal SSD directly to your Roon Ready-certified audio devices using the Roon application.
You benefit from Roon’s rich ecosystem, with the addition of comprehensive information on your audio files and Qobuz / Tidal streaming services.
The Rhein Z1C can be used as a Roon server only, but also as a server and player (Roon Bridge). Simply connect the Silent Angel Rhein Z1 to a USB audio DAC, which in turn is connected to your HiFi system.
In both configurations, you control music playback from the Roon app, which you can download to your smartphone, tablet or computer.
A subscription or Roon license is required to take advantage of this rich ecosystem.
