Precision OCXO at the heart of the device.
At the heart of the SC-1 is Matrix Audio’s custom OCXO (Oven-Controlled Crystal Oscillator) module, which uses a crystal cut from solid.
Although this cutting process is very complex, it allows the clock module to have superior phase noise and aging characteristics.
Thanks to precise temperature control by the oven chamber, the crystal operates in a very stable environment, effectively minimizing the impact of ambient temperature fluctuations on phase noise and jitter.
Four independent buffers / Synchronized clock outputs .
The SC-1 is equipped with four independent buffered clock outputs, all derived from the same source.
While ensuring a synchronized output, each output is equipped with its own buffer circuit, providing not only stable output impedance, but also excellent driving capabilities.
Whether it’s a single output or several simultaneous outputs, the SC-1 offers precise and stable performance, meeting your diverse requirements.
Clear status indication.
The SC-1’s front panel features a preheat status indicator.
When the oven chamber is heating up, the indicator flashes; once heating is complete, the indicator remains lit.
This simple, intuitive design lets you know the unit’s operating status instantly.
Consistent performance.
Even with the SC-1’s precise clock system, a slight drift or deviation in time is inevitable.
To remedy this situation, we have designed a 1PPS reference signal input terminal on the rear panel.
When connected to an external second-based reference signal source, the device automatically performs a calibration.
Calibration status is indicated by the LED on the front panel. In addition, we offer free calibration services to ensure the accuracy of your device.
The SC-1 is an advanced linear power supply with automatic voltage sensing.
It features sensitive voltage sensing capabilities, enabling precise switching of the transformer winding according to the input voltage.
In addition, overvoltage and undervoltage protection functions are always on standby, providing comprehensive protection for stable device operation.
In particular, two multi-stage regulating power supplies independently supply the furnace control circuit and the clock circuit, effectively eliminating any interference from furnace chamber power fluctuations on the clock circuit.
