Description
Pink RA180
The Rose RA180 hi-fi amplifier is a class AD model equipped with four amplifier modules.
This Rose RA180 amp can be bridged in stereo mode for 2 x 400 watts, or use all its modules for 4 x 200 watts.
Ideal for bi-amplification, the Rose RA180 features specific midrange and bass modules to ensure optimal reproduction from 10 Hz to 100 kHz. Last but not least, the Rose RA180 can be easily combined with any analog source, thanks to its 3 RCA inputs, an XLR input, and a phono input compatible with MM and MC.

Rose RA180: high current capacity
The Rose RA180 amplifier uses the latest-generation components to reproduce recordings in the purest, most faithful way possible.
Its power supply is based on silicon carbide SiC FET transistors.
These are combined with large capacitors to instantly deliver 1000 watts of current with a damping factor of 200.
As a result, the Rose RA180 amp can respond dynamically to the slightest musical demands, even when played at very high volume.
Rose RA180: AD class
The Rose RA180 hi-fi amplifier uses class AD amplification architecture.
It uses Class A polarized elements in the input stage to bring warmth and naturalness to the listening experience, and Class D elements in the power stage.
These increase output power, dynamics and listening transparency.
This stage adopts gallium nitride FET transistors to dramatically improve switching speed and stability.
This design enables the Rose RA180 amp to offer a perfectly linear response from 10 Hz to 100 kHz, as well as distortion reduced to just 0.005%.

Rose RA180: stereo bridge
While stereo amplifiers usually use two amplifier modules, the Rose RA180 incorporates four.
These are linked to 8 pairs of terminal blocks.
Thanks to the use of four modules rather than two, the Rose RA180 amp can operate in stereo bridge mode.
Output power is thus doubled, while maintaining stereo reproduction.
In this mode, the Rose RA180 amplifier is capable of delivering 2 x 400 watts at 4 and 8 ohms, enabling it to power any loudspeaker with peace of mind.
In 4-channel mode, it can deliver 4 x 200 watts of power at 4 and 8 ohms.

The four modules of the Rose RA180 amplifier are identical, all with a bandwidth of 12 Hz to 100 kHz. However, some are optimized for midrange and treble reproduction, while others are designed for bass.
To achieve this, the Rose RA180 amplifier uses active filtering to manually select cutoff frequencies via a control on the front panel.
The Rose RA180 amp is ideal for connecting a pair of speakers equipped with a double pair of binding posts.

In stereo bi-amplification mode, the Rose RA180 features a variable crossover frequency, set by a potentiometer on the front panel, to optimize the power supply to a pair of double-terminal speakers.

Rose RA180: vintage design
The Rose RA180 amplifier is built around a sturdy, solid aluminum chassis, making it highly resistant to electromagnetic waves and external interference.
The chassis adopts an elaborate retro design, reinforcing the prestige of this audiophile electronics. The front panel features needle gauges and numerous controls.
All orders are made entirely in metal.
The volume potentiometer combines with a gear mechanism to operate the volume of each channel from a single control.
The Rose RA180 amplifier also lets you adjust bass and treble levels, set the crossover frequency when used in bi-amplification mode, adjust gain and balance, and select the source.
All the essential controls of the Rose RA180 amp are also accessible from its infrared remote control.
Pink RA180: analog connectors
In true hi-fi tradition, the Rose RA180 amplifier uses exclusively analog connectors.
It features three unbalanced RCA inputs and one balanced XLR input.
This makes it possible to connect a network player, a DAC or a CD player, for example.
A phono input is also provided for connecting a turntable. This is MM and MC compatible, ensuring perfect support for any cartridge. The practical Rose RA180 also features a subwoofer output for connecting a subwoofer.
Finally, a trigger input enables it to be switched on at the same time as the source.
