Description
ZE2000

New audiophile-quality, classic wireless headphones, whose sound has been designed on the basis of the latest research findings in acoustic engineering and psychoacoustics.
The ZE2000 is a new model with a different design inspired by the new standard in wireless headphones, the ZE3000.
Adopting the simple, fundamental concept that “a true wireless earphone is an audio product, and its priority must therefore be sound quality“, we chose to abandon features such as noise reduction or ambience mode, which would influence overall sound characteristics.
The ZE2000 is based on the style of the ZE3000, but with a different taste in sound.
In contrast to the spacious, natural sound quality of the ZE3000, which allows users to feel the detailed sounds and resonances deep within the music, the ZE2000 brings the sound of voices and instruments closer to the ear, allowing full enjoyment of every piece of music.
One of the pleasures of an audio enthusiast is to make comparisons between all the sounds.
By comparing different models, you can discover the appeal of the music and the advantages of each product that you hadn’t noticed before.
We hope you enjoy the new ZE2000 product, which is full of our commitment and thoughts, while comparing it to the “ZE3000”.

Features.
New “f-Core for Wireless” driver circuit for ultra-low distortion.
Wireless headsets often rely on software equalization to adjust sound characteristics, generating problems that can be a side-effect and lead to a tiring listening experience.
With the ZE2000, instead of relying entirely on the equalizer, we’ve improved the fundamental performance of the drivers and optimized the acoustic space inside the headphones to perfect the quality of the sound so that it’s satisfyingenough to listen to, and the equalizer is used only to make precise, effective corrections in narrow bands.
However, in order to make the best use of this precise equalizer correction, it is necessary to have a driver with extremely precise sound pressure frequency characteristics.
If there is a variation of around 3 dB, which is the typical accuracy, equalizer correction will lead to unnatural results. To solve this problem, we’ve developed a new “f-Core for Wireless” driver, which has been built from the ground up to achieve ultra-low distortion.
As a rule, the diaphragm of an earphone is manufactured by monolithic injection molding, with the plastic material injected into a mold whose center and surround are formed at the same time.
However, in the case of small-diameter loudspeakers, tangential corrugations are normally added to the surround to stabilize the larger-amplitude movement that causes the diaphragm to rotate and cause distortion.
In the case of “f-Core for Wireless”, the center is made of a special resin that is both light and hard.
Thanks to the combination of these two special materials, despite its 6 mm diameter, the effect area at its center is equivalent to that of a 9 mm diameter monolithic injection-molded diaphragm. This also helps reduce distortion.
The special silicone surround and center are directly molded together without the use of adhesives, improving assembly precision and considerably reducing weight, thus helping to reduce distortion.
Thanks to these in-depth distortion reduction measures, it has become possible to clearly distinguish the small notes of each sound that were previously difficult to hear. Even the decay of reverberation can be heard right to the end, and the full extent of the musical space is felt.

“f-LINK” damping system to optimize the internal pressure of the acoustic chamber.
Wireless headphones feature batteries, electronics and antennas that take up most of the space inside the case.
This means there’s less freedom to create the perfect acoustic chamber for high-quality sound.
In addition, the sealing function generally expected forces the housing to be completely sealed without the slightest opening to regulate the air pressure inside the acoustic chamber, which has the effect of crushing low-frequency sounds and degrading overall clarity due to the auditory masking effect.
The ZE2000 features a new “f-LINK damping system” that optimizes pressure in the acoustic space inside the earphone housing to create a sound equivalent to wired headphones, without the need for external vents.
This allows proper control of low frequencies that were difficult to achieve with the sound quality of wireless headphones, and reproduces vocals that tend to be distant in the balance desired by the artist.
Even in the reproduction of low frequencies such as drum hits and bass lines, combined with the ultra-low distortion of the attack unit, we’ve achieved a high quality that lets you feel the fine, detailed expression of the bass range.

Wireless headphones feature batteries, electronics and antennas that take up most of the space inside the case.
The ZE2000 offers a superior fit thanks to the housing design, which is the optimal solution for the in-ear fit established with our conventional wired headphones.
The comfort of headphones depends on the degree of oppression they provide.
At first glance, the method of maintaining the repulsive force of the housing, such as choosing an ergonomic organic shape, seems correct, but it still exerts a force on the ear, straining it unnoticed, and fatigue accumulates.
Compared to the organic shape, which touches the ear over a large surface area, the shape that limits the contact area aims to provide a comfortable fit without feeling oppressive.
The ZE2000 can be held at three points for a stable fit.
The 1st point at the concha cavity (pink).
The 2nd point at the tip of the ear.
The 3rd point at the tragus.
..

So theyfit all ears. If there’s no oppressive feeling at all points of contact, you’ll feel like you’re wearing such comfortable earphones, and it’s a great wearing sensation, as if they were custom earphones just for you.
Ear tips for optimum wearing comfort.

5 sizes of newly designed “TYPE E Truly Wireless Exclusive Edition” ear tips are included as accessories.
In general, many competitive earmolds are shaped to exert high pressure in the ear canal, causing pain and fatigue after prolonged wear.
The new“TYPE E Truly Wireless Exclusive Edition” earmolds are gently inserted at the entrance to the ear canal, with no foreign body sensation.
What’s more, since the center color of adjacent sizes is different (ZE2000 Black: alternating dark and light gray, ZE2000 White: alternating light and white), it’ s now easy to distinguish between sizes.
Five sizes are available: SS / S / M / L / LL. As these earphones are often fixed slightly at the entrance to the ear canal, size L tips are fitted by default.

Touch control.
The ZE2000 supports touch functions, makingit easy to play/stop music, increase/decrease volume, next/previous track and call/end call.
The contact point is located on the triangular surface of the headphones’ faceplate (the side where the logo is not printed), and this design helps avoid handling errors when wearing the headphones.
Water resistance IPX4.
Water resistance rating IPX4 rating makes the ZE2000 ideal for sports and active lifestyles.
Rapidly changing weather conditions won’t prevent you from enjoying your favorite music or other entertainment content.

Perfectly shaped charging case for maximum comfort as an everyday companion.
In addition to its slim, compact size, it can be easily opened and closed with one hand, and we pay particular attention to ensuring that its shape fits comfortably in the hand when gripped, which is achieved through repeated prototyping and real-life human evaluation.
2 color variants, BLACK and WHITE Shibo*.
Althoughthe headphone housing and charging case are lightweight resin cases, they feature a soft-textured Shibo* coating reminiscent of high-end camera parts.
Normally, this Shibo coating is only applied to a metal surface, but we have developed and implemented a special process that can also be applied to the resin surface.
* Shibo: an old Japanese word meaning a fold on the surface of paper or leather.

Automatic pairing function.
Equipped with an automatic pairing function that connects automatically to the paired device simply by opening the cover of the charging case.
You can listen to music as soon as you put on the headphones.
What’s more, when the headphones are stored in the charging case and the lid is closed, the power is automatically switched off, so you can be sure not to forget to switch the device off.
Single-ear mode.
Simply replace an earphone in the case, and the music automatically switches to “single-ear mode” without interruption.
Stereo playback is replaced by monaural* playback, so you can listen to music in one ear without any discomfort.
This function is useful when you want to listen to music without excluding outside sounds, for example when you listen to music in one ear while cooking.
*Monaural playback is a method in which left and right audio signals are combined and broadcast from a single earpiece.
Only connections with the SBC / AAC codec support monaural playback.

User’s guide.
