Description
IeGo’s Shuko plug is made from 99.9999% pure silver parts of the highest quality.
Ultra-pure silver imported from Norway is used to manufacture metal parts. IeGo works the pure metal using state-of-the-art processes to remove almost 100% of impurities and oxygen, while favoring a long-crystal structure. The elements are then cryogenically cooled to -240° for 20 hours to increase both conductivity and hardness.
To compensate for the fragility of silver, the contact parts are lightly plated with Rhodium to guarantee durability.
After acid treatment, each element is polished by hand.
The socket frame is made from a special PVC designed in Japan.
