Mobius was created for Gamers, by Gamers. Mobius was created with comfort among the most important points. Replaceable memory foam, fully adjustable headband and memory head cushion.

Voice chat quality:

In online games, it’s not just important to hear the micro details. Good team cohesion also depends on good dialogue, and being perfectly intelligible to your teammates. Mobius comes with a detachable, flexible microphone with active background noise reduction. A simple switch also activates or deactivates the microphone (Mute), and a volume control for the microphone independent of the sound volume is included.

Bluetooth freedom:

Audeze has chosen to include high-quality Bluetooth (around 3 times the bandwidth of other Bluetooth headsets), to give you total freedom in using the headset and on the move.

Why is Mobius different from other helmets?

Mobius incorporates the following technologies to recreate a realistic, immersive 3D experience:

What’s more, it’s perfectly plug and play with USB-C, analog (3.5mm) and Bluetooth (AAC/LDAC) connectivity, giving you a true High Fidelity experience, whatever you use it for. Mobius delivers a realistic 3D experience, identical to the way the real world around you reacts. This means you’ll hear your in-game opponent creeping up behind you as clearly as if he were in the same room as you.

Do I need any special software to operate my Mobius?

Absolutely not! Mobius works like a system that encodes and decodes: it’s plug and play. There is, however, software that can be used to customize your audio experience, if you wish.   

Does Mobius work with XBox / Playstation / Switch? 

Yes, Mobius will work with XBox/PS4/Switch, via the 3.5mm analog cord. USB will also work, but only in Stereo (2-channel mode). Head-movement tracking, room emulation and spatialization functions work in analog and 2-channel USB. So, even without full surround, 3D is already stunning!

Can I cut the 3D effect?

Of course you can! The 3D function can be switched off, and the Mobius will function as a standard Audeze Planar headset.

Is the BOOM microphone included?

Yes! it plugs in via a standard 3.5mm TRRS jack. It’s easy to disconnect and reconnect. Be careful, though: it’s fitted with a lock, so insert it with care!

How long does the internal battery last, and how long does it take to recharge?

The internal battery is rated for 10 hours, with 3D activated. When using USB, the headset is constantly charging. With a 1A charger, the mobius recharges from 0% to 100% in around 3 hours.  

If the battery fails and I’m connected to analog (3.5mm), will Mobius continue to work?

No! the headset must have a power source, either a charged battery or USB power.

What are the pads and headband made of? Are they replaceable?

The ear cushions and headband are made of memory foam and covered with leatherette. They have been specifically designed for enhanced comfort, and can be replaced as needed.
