Description
Hand-crafted cables using the finest copper on the market (also used in our IeGo): Furukawa PCUHD deoxygenated Red copper.
Furukawa PCUHD red copper is rightly considered the purest copper in the world. It is manufactured in two stages:
Copper is “melted” and “molded” using non-temperature-resistant materials, then drawn directly without being rolled (which can add impurities). This enables us to achieve a 4N grade (99.99% copper purity), while retaining high malleability and precision drawing to achieve impressive wire fineness.
Oxygen is one of the most common impurities in copper products.
For this reason, no gas burners are used in cable manufacture, and the equipment is filled with noble gas.
Thanks to these precautions, we are able to offer headphone cables of exceptional purity, with oxygen levels controlled at less than 5ppm, well below the requirements for deoxygenated copper.
