This is Naim’s fourth and penultimate recording of the Allegri Quartet to cellist Bruno Schrecker, who returned at the close of 1998s busy concert season.

Internationally renowned clarinettist, James Campbell, joins ASQ on this occasion. He has performed with many of the world’s finest orchestras and has had many new works written specially for him.

Franz Schubert’s Arpeggione Sonata, originally composed for the afore mentioned Viennese six-stringed instrument, has been rearranged on this occasion by Brian Newbould, especially for James Campbell’s clarinet in the context of a string quartet.
